As my son enters, right away he greets the guys “ Hey guys how’s it doing?” They all smile and chuckle. We see the backdrop of the mountains out the shops windows and take our seat. Whether it’s super hero movies, music playing, white noise from the clippers or Romone showing off his vocals, Brickyard’s ambiance draws you in. Sometimes I chime in on conversations other times I just sit and Shazam the music playing. It’s a place I know my son likes to be, he always feels welcomed and loved.
With a “See ya later guys!” Rocky catches himself in the mirror outside the shop and says “Who’s that handsome guy?” Just admiring his fresh cut. Right away a smile crosses my face. Until next time.
Here are some of my favorite captures from Brickyard Barbershop.
