Jasmine Flores

She was Janessa’s 4th birthday gift and named after Jasmine from Aladdin. She was sweet, mellow and passive. She always preferred me and I became her favorite.

She was my dog, she was always by my side. I watched this family video after her passing and you can see her wait for me to continue walking so she could be right by my side and it just made me bawl ( I’ll attached it at the end of the post.) Our house has such an empty feeling and I keep feeling like she’s still here mistaking my other dog for her. My son saw me putting together an album of her and his golden heart says, “Mom I know something that will help you feel better about Jasmine dying.” He guides me over to the living room and plays me a meditation go noodle video that focuses on breathing. Again I bawl. My daughter flooding my text feed with videos of her. We laugh together at how she would climb onto the table searching for food and the half of Janessa’s birthday cake she managed to open and eat all of. I’m going to miss her so much.

As we stood with her cries, and I touched her for the last time I say to her. “ Jasmine, I love you little lamb, Thanks for letting me know when it was time to say goodbye. I love you and I am going to miss you so much. Tell Koda we said hi and miss him. I hope he gives you a good ear cleaning when you get to heaven. You were a great dog and so loyal to me and the kids. I love you, Mamas. Goodbye.”

I’d like to thank Dr. Bachmann from AVC for giving us an extra year of love with her.

Shailynn Photo and Film and Kirstin Roper for some of these pictures/video of my pup.

Winters Dance

I’m glad that my Daughter has been able to enjoy school dances during Covid. Her school has been amazing with ideas to keep it Covid safe and still fun. Here are some of my favorites.
